Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester - QA with strong expertise in automation testing and a solid background in financial technology (fintech). The ideal candidate will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure high-quality product delivery through efficient testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.

● Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.

● Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

● Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure stability of fintech applications.

● Identify, log, and track bugs, and verify bug fixes.

● Work in Agile/Scrum development environments and participate in sprint planning and reviews.

● Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices.

Required Skills:

● 3 - 5 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.

● Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and scripting in Java/Python.

● Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

● Experience in the fintech domain (banking, payments).

● Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP).

● Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

● Exposure to mobile app testing (Android/iOS).

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

● Knowledge of MongoDB and ability to work with large datasets.

● ISTQB or relevant certification is an added advantage.
