Internal Communications Specialist

Description Position at DNEG DNEG is seeking a talented and creative Internal Communications Specialist to join its global Marketing & Communications team in Mumbai on a contract basis.As a communications expert, you will have visibility of everything that is happening in DNEG’s 19 global locations across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, will share important company announcements and updates with our global crew, and will create stories and content to celebrate and spotlight the work of our talented teams. You will know the right approach to take for each communication, and will provide our teams with the right information at the right time.You will draft and share announcements, success stories and inspiring insights into life at DNEG that motivate your colleagues and celebrate and promote the culture of the company. Working within our tone of voice and brand guidelines, you will quickly distill complex and sometimes sensitive issues and communicate them effectively to our teams to ensure maximum understanding and engagement. Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing & Communications, you will develop and verify content independently, approve communications with internal stakeholders, and suggest new and innovative ways to share comms with our global teams. You will have a deep understanding of the value of the communications that you are creating, and how they will be received by the audiences that they are intended for.Must Have Extensive previous experience in internal communications, preferably within the creative industries and with an international remit Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and organizational abilities The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and problem-solve independently Experience moving seamlessly between strategic development and tactical delivery The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a trustworthy manner A willingness and ability to be “hands on” and to deliver to challenging timescales A great team player with an unfailingly positive and enthusiastic approach Previous experience dealing with both senior stakeholders Nice to Have Experience operating within brand and tone of voice guidelines for a large organization Experience in managing change communication Exposure to visual effects, feature film or TV production Experience in developing and delivering creative briefs to design teams A university degree or equivalent in communications, journalism or comparable studies About You Driven and proactive Strong organization skills and attention to detail Flexible Positive and solution-focused A creative content creator An absolute team player Able to see the bigger picture Calm under pressure About Us is a world-leading visual effects, animation, and creative technologies company for the creation of film, TV, and immersive content, with worldwide offices and studios across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.With over 25 years of industry experience, DNEG has been honored with eight Academy Awards® for ‘Visual Effects’ since 2011, and numerous BAFTA, Primetime EMMY®, and Visual Effects Society Awards for its critically acclaimed work.
