At Benne we serve food we love — with honesty, warmth, and heart. The Role We’re looking for a hands-on, guest-first Captain to run the floor at our cafés in Delhi. You’ll be the face of the outlet during your shift — ensuring service is smooth, guests feel seen, and the team performs like a well-oiled kitchen. This role is for someone energetic, decisive, and proud of excellent service. What You’ll Do Lead the service floor during your shift: welcome guests, manage the space, and ensure timely, warm service Coach and support FOH staff on hospitality, order flow, and upsell moments Run pre-shift and post-shift briefings; keep the team informed and motivated Monitor service speed, order accuracy, and guest satisfaction in real time Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with the manager/BoH to resolve them Handle guest feedback with empathy and ownership — turn concerns into delightful outcomes Keep the dining area clean, presentable, and aligned with brand standards Support inventory checks and communicate supply needs to the Outlet Manager Step in to assist during peak service (plate-up, clearing, bussing) whenever needed What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of hands-on FoH experience in cafés, restaurants, or QSRs (experience as a senior server, supervisor, or team lead is ideal) Confident, calm leadership on the floor and excellent people skills Strong communicator who can coach peers and handle guests with grace Quick decision-maker, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A team player who takes pride in every service moment and protects Benne’s service soul Compensation Competitive and based on experience.
