At Benne we serve food we love — with honesty, warmth, and heart. The Role We’re looking for a hands-on, guest-first Captain to run the floor at our cafés in Delhi. You’ll be the face of the outlet during your shift — ensuring service is smooth, guests feel seen, and the team performs like a well-oiled kitchen. This role is for someone energetic, decisive, and proud of excellent service. What You’ll Do - Lead the service floor during your shift: welcome guests, manage the space, and ensure timely, warm service - Coach and support FOH staff on hospitality, order flow, and upsell moments - Run pre-shift and post-shift briefings; keep the team informed and motivated - Monitor service speed, order accuracy, and guest satisfaction in real time - Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with the manager/BoH to resolve them - Handle guest feedback with empathy and ownership — turn concerns into delightful outcomes - Keep the dining area clean, presentable, and aligned with brand standards - Support inventory checks and communicate supply needs to the Outlet Manager - Step in to assist during peak service (plate-up, clearing, bussing) whenever needed What We’re Looking For - 1–3 years of hands-on FoH experience in cafés, restaurants, or QSRs (experience as a senior server, supervisor, or team lead is ideal) - Confident, calm leadership on the floor and excellent people skills - Strong communicator who can coach peers and handle guests with grace - Quick decision-maker, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - A team player who takes pride in every service moment and protects Benne’s service soul 💛 Compensation Competitive and based on experience.
