Job Description Department Marketing & Sales Designation Business Development Manager Institutional Location Kolkata, West Bengal Role & Responsibilities : Identify various Institutions closely working with farmers directly and leverage integrating MI technology benefitting to their customers/farmers Marketing of PIAL products , services & concepts to various institutions Execute specific partnership, MoU, agreement as per the need of business model Create an alternate channel for PIAL through Agri upstream & downstream activities Generate enquires , leads , eligibility creation etc through crop Value chain activities To work closely with Branch Team to extend & develop Institutional linkages Responsible for Sales & Marketing of PIAL products & services through alternate channel ( Institutional ) To execute various capacity building exercise under CBMS Liaison with Government departments / Resource Institutions for various schemes supporting PMKSY / MI Programmes Participate in various webinar / seminar / workshop to showcase PIAL Minimum qualification :- Passionate in making dream into reality . A good listener, deft in interpersonal skill, ability to make positive impact Alert , Pro-active , Agile & ability to showcase multitasking in an independent environment Good at written & verbal communication, presentation skills (English & Hindi is mandatory , any southern Indian language will be an added advantage) Education : B.Sc ( Agri or Allied) / B.Tech (Agri Eng) along with MBA in ( Agribusiness) 7-10 Years of Industry experience in sales or business development in Agri domain 3-5 years of work experience in Agri Inputs - institutional sales ( with Resource Institution / POPI/NGOs/Agri Input or Output Corporates / FPUs/ financial institutions / farmer collectives , Agri-start-ups / Incubation Centre etc ) Ability to travel across various geographies for at least 10-12 days every month
