We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a CA Inter or equivalent with 5-8 years of relevant experience. The role requires expertise in Accounting, Audit, Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) Management, Vendor Payments, Inventory Management, General Ledger (GL) and Bank Reconciliation, and exposure to multiple currencies. This position also requires one to have experience in SAP FICO & MM tool. This position is based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting & Financial Reporting:
Manage daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Audit & Compliance:
Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any queries or issues raised.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:
Oversee AP & AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
Manage vendor payment cycles and resolve any payment-related issues.
- Inventory Management:
Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
Collaborate with operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Reconciliations:
Perform regular GL and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions in multiple currencies.
- Currency Management:
Handle transactions involving multiple currencies and manage currency conversions.
Assist in mitigating foreign exchange risks.
- Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Leverage technology and tools to streamline workflows.
- Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the Finance Manager and cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior finance staff.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
Proficiency in AP & AR management, vendor payments, and inventory accounting.
Expertise in GL and bank reconciliations, with attention to detail.
Exposure to multiple currency transactions and foreign exchange management.
Expertise in SAP FICO & MM is a must and other ERP systems with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
