
Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities :
To plan, drive, and achieve sales targets in the assigned territory for fertility and gynaecology products, while ensuring strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), IVF centres, and hospitals.
1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned fertility and gynaecology portfolio.
- Develop strategic business plans to penetrate IVF clinics, maternity hospitals, and gynaecology OPDs.
- Identify & capitalize on new business opportunities within the territory.
2. Key Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with gynaecologists, fertility specialists, embryologists, and IVF centre administrators.
- Organize CMEs, round-table meetings, and workshops to drive product awareness.
- Engage KOLs for advocacy, endorsements, and clinical discussions.
3. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor activities, market trends, and prescription patterns.
- Provide timely sales forecasts, and territory insights to management.
- Analyze sales data to optimize territory performance.
4. Compliance & Ethical Promotion
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical marketing practices.
Maintain accurate records of HCP interactions as per compliance requirements.
Preferred candidate profile
- Excellent communication & negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of fertility and gynecology therapeutic areas.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
- Field-intensive role with frequent travel within the assigned area.
- Involves weekend events, CME programs, and KOL meetings.
