Pure Med is a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving health and well-being through the development, production, and distribution of high-quality pharmaceutical products. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a background in the pharmaceuticals industry to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities: -Financial Accounting and Reporting: -Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Inventory and Stock Management:Maintain accurate records of stock and inventory levels, ensuring all pharmaceutical products are accounted for.Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile with system records.

Marg Software Utilization: -Proficiently use Marg software for accounting and inventory management tasks.Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in Marg software.Generate reports and insights using Marg software to support decision-making.

Excel Proficiency: -Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.Create and maintain spreadsheets to track financial and inventory data.Perform complex calculations and data analysis to support business operations.

Compliance and Regulatory: -Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax regulations.Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.Stay updated with changes in accounting practices and pharmaceutical regulations.

Drug Knowledge: -Possess comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical products and their classifications.Ensure accurate labelling and categorization of drug inventory.Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure proper drug procurement and storage practices.

Qualifications and Skills: -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the pharmaceuticals industry.Proficiency in Marg software for accounting and inventory management.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and drug inventory management.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and inventory management.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
