Position Summary:
Lead and develop team of PAMs, manage internal and external stakeholders, work with sales teams and customers for need or problem identification & definition, help postulate solutions through product applications, performance benchmarking, periodic monitoring of cost & quality parameters for products, comparison for parameters and servicing in accordance with marketing and sales objectives.
Providing technical and applications support to the frontline sales & segment teams, direct and indirect customers in the region including product training, product recommendation, problem solving and trial support.
Strive for new product developments with competitive price in consultation with R&D to support market needs/ demands.
Lead & support management strategic initiatives like Product rationalization, rebranding & documenting needs for product development & innovation through NPI.
Demonstrate technical success stories through case study presentations both for internal & external key stake holders.
This role is in alignment with the business plan for growing the Ferrous, Non-Ferrous & surface treatment product sectors in PAN India, Bangladesh & Nepal.
Key education or certification required:
Chemistry, production or relevant engineering degree (PhD / Masters)
What is the minimum number of years of relevant experience that is needed:
10+ years’ experience of customer facing technical role
5+ years experience of leading and developing teams
