This is a contractual role.

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled BigPanda Engineer to design, implement, and manage our incident management and automation platform.

You will be responsible for integrating BigPanda with our existing monitoring tools, optimizing incident response workflows, and ensuring system reliability.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement resilient architecture for BigPanda integration with monitoring tools (IBM Tivoli Monitoring, Netcool, DataDog).

- Configure BigPanda daemons and SNMP traps for efficient alert ingestion.

- Develop scripts (Bash, Python) to automate tasks and improve efficiency.

- Optimize BigPanda incident management workflows for faster resolution.

- Collaborate with teams to identify incident response requirements and implement solutions.

- Ensure smooth deployment and management of BigPanda in the production environment.

- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5-7 years of experience in system administration and monitoring.

- Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.

- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python).

- Understanding of network protocols (SNMP) and MIB configuration.

- Knowledge of monitoring tools (IBM Tivoli Monitoring, Netcool, DataDog).

- Ability to design and implement resilient system architectures.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of DevOps practices.

- Experience with change management processes
