We are seeking an experienced Manager for Project Management to oversee office fit-out and maintenance projects. This role involves comprehensive project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure high-quality, on-time, and within-budget project delivery. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using project management software, managing multiple project sites, and collaborating with contractors to maintain quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for office fit-out and maintenance projects.
- Utilize planning tools and software for effective project tracking and management.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that contractors and vendors adhere to project schedules and standards.
Design Review & Space Planning
- Review drawings and layouts to ensure optimal space utilization and functionality.
- Provide guidance on interior design factors, including layout, furnishings, equipment placement, and color coordination.
Site Coordination & Quality Control
- Oversee the installation and arrangement of furnishings, including carpeting, accessories, paint, glass partitions, artwork, and furniture.
- Inspect materials delivered to the site, ensuring adherence to quality and specifications.
- Monitor the quality of work conducted by contractors and subcontractors, ensuring all standards are met.
Team Leadership & Delegation
- Manage and delegate tasks to project in-charges, ensuring effective execution across multiple sites.
- Provide support and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on high-quality results.
Budget Management & BOQ Knowledge
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all activities are completed within financial constraints.
- Prepare and review bills of quantities (BOQ) to accurately plan and allocate resources.
Vendor & Contractor Collaboration
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely project completion, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with individual trades and subcontractors, leveraging expertise to optimize project execution.
Desired Skills and Expertise
- Education : BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or MBA in Project Management is required.
- Experience : Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management within the office interior fit-out industry, particularly managing corporate and workplace fit-out projects.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in project management tools and tracking software; strong understanding of BOQ and budget management.
- Competencies :
- Detail-oriented with a process-driven approach to managing projects.
- Quick problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
