WHO YOU ARE You’re not just a manager—you’re the heart of the café. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing both structure and excitement to your daily work. You have a sharp eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and a knack for solving problems on the fly. With at least 2 years of experience in a café or restaurant environment, you know how to manage a team, keep everything organized, and ensure each guest has a memorable experience. You’re a natural leader with exceptional communication skills, able to motivate your team while delivering outstanding service. You’re also comfortable with POS systems, managing inventory, and handling all the operational details that make a café run smoothly. YOUR TEAM You’ll be leading a dedicated team of front-of-house staff, working closely with them to ensure everything runs smoothly, from training new hires to managing daily operations. Together, you’ll create an environment where both guests and staff thrive. WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO You will report directly to the Head of Operations, a leader who shares your passion for excellent customer service, team development, and the art of mithai. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Team Leadership: Supervise and support the café team, ensuring high standards of service, smooth operations, and well-trained staff. Operational Excellence: Oversee café operations, manage stock levels, place supplier orders, and ensure the space is clean, organized, and ready for daily service. Customer Experience: Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, handle inquiries or complaints, and ensure every guest has a memorable visit. Financial Management: Maintain accurate records of daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses. Menu Innovation: Experiment with seasonal menus and beverages, creating new offerings that reflect customer preferences and trends. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to health, safety, and hygiene SOPs. Collaboration: Work with the Head of Operations to streamline processes, improve service, and develop long-term relationships with customers and suppliers. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment, with a focus on customer service and operations. A strong team leader who can manage, train, and motivate a diverse group of people. Proactive, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in English, with a solid understanding of POS systems. Ability to work flexible shifts as required by the café's operating hours.
