About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced HR professional who will own the full spectrum of Human Resources & Talent Acquisition responsibilities while partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives. This role is critical in shaping our talent strategy, strengthening employee experience, and building a high-performance culture aligned with our mission in Biotechnology research and Bio-Manufacturing .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment & onboarding of new hires across research, operations, and leadership functions.
- Drive performance management processes and provide constructive feedback mechanisms.
- Manage payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with labor regulations.
- Design and implement talent retention & engagement strategies to nurture long-term careers.
- Partner with leadership to customize compensation structures using fixed pay, variable pay linked to KPIs, and ESOPs.
- Ensure compliance with Karnataka Labour & Employment Laws .
- Build strong recruiting pipelines through academic partnerships, industry connections, and external consultants .
- Leverage Talent Solutions and other platforms to drive talent acquisition excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Management, or relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR hiring & management within Biotechnology, Lifesciences research, or Biopharma manufacturing.
- Proven track record in recruitment from academic institutes & biotech industries .
- Strong expertise in talent acquisition & retention strategies .
- Excellent organisational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail with sound judgment.
- Experience in compensation design including ESOP structuring and management.
