Who will be coordinate withcompanyexecutives and professionals toreview current market trends in order to propose new businessideasthat can improve revenue. BusinessDevelopment Managers will work closely with otherbusinessrepresentatives to identify andclose new business deals or expand existing businessopportunities.They also work directly withcustomers to help close deals when needed so they must havegoodcustomer service skills and a strongunderstanding of their company s products andservices.ROLE ANDRESPONSIBILITIES Conduct research toidentify new markets and customer needsArrange business meetings with prospectiveclients Promote the company sproducts/services addressing or predicting clientsobjectives Marketknowledge Communication and negotiationskills Identifying market opportunitiesthrough meetings networking and otherchannels Meeting existing and potentialclients and building positive relationshipsLiaising with business representatives to develop sales andmarketing strategies Attending events suchas exhibitions and conferences Preparingpresentations and participating in salesmeetings Take a lead role in developing newbusiness proposals and presentations that createandnurture opportunities andpartnerships Identify trends and customerneeds building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long terminaccordance withtargets
QUALIFICATIONSAND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Master s degreein Agricultural/ business administration marketing or any otherrelatedfield. One must have experience inagribusiness or agribusiness developmentProven working experience as a business development manager or arelevant role Experience in online marketingand digital sales is a plus Proficiency inMS Office and CRM softwarePREFERREDSKILLS A strong sense of creativity aids inthe process of thinking of new product ideas andsolvingproblemscreatively. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills Experience in BDtechniques Great problemsolvingskills. Ability to pay attention todetails. Ability to multitaskefficiently Good businesssense.
