The Role :
We are looking for an experienced Associate Director - Security to lead our security operations, compliance, and governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring over 8-10 years of hands-on experience in information security, cybersecurity, and payment security compliance. The role will focus on ensuring adherence to the latest security standards, managing regulatory requirements, and leading security initiatives across the organisation.
What You’ll be doing:
Audit and Compliance: Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies, control frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST)
Risk Assessment: Ability to conduct risk assessments and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in IT systems and processes
Formulating strategic plans in partnership with broader leadership team; and translating strategic priorities into action
Developing and maintaining business resiliency plans and procedures
Provide guidance and set direction for security-related architectural and strategic activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to perform security reviews, identify gaps, and develop risk management plans and recommendations.
Conduct Security Architecture reviews to ensure alignment with company policies and standards.
Security Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies, including network security, application security, and data security
IT Systems Knowledge: Understanding of various IT systems, cloud platforms (AWS), and technologies, including operating systems, databases, and network infrastructure
Audit Experience: Previous experience in IT auditing, either as an internal or external auditors (Banks/Regulators/NBFC)
Conduct internal and external security assessments, including application and infrastructure security.
Ensure compliance with RBI regulatory requirements such as DPSC, Data Localization,Cloud Audit.
Lead audits related to payment security including PCI DSS and work with external auditors.
Lead incident management teams, ensuring rapid and efficient responses to any information security breaches.
Oversee vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and manage tools like SAST/DAST for proactive threat detection.
Manage and track vulnerability remediation efforts across teams.
Develop and execute information security awareness programs, including phishing simulations and cybersecurity training.
Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, fostering an environment of growth and continuous learning
What we’re looking for:
Must have 8-10 years of experience in information security, with a significant focus on payment security and compliance.
Strong experience in information security, security certification, and cryptographic systems.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and RBI mandates.
Expertise in security technologies like WAF, IPS, DLP, IDAM, MFA, EDR, XDR, and endpoint encryption.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven track record in managing security operations for fintech or NBFC systems.
Experience in fintech, NBFC , or handling large-scale security operations .
Familiarity with AWS cloud security and cloud-based key management systems.
