Job Summary

We are looking for a Performance Test Automation Engineer to join our team and lead the development and

execution of performance testing strategies for our applications. This role combines the rigor of performance

testing with the technical depth of automation engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in

performance testing tools, automation frameworks, and a deep understanding of application scalability, reliability, and system behaviour under load.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Testing & Automation:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated performance test scripts and frameworks.
  • Execute performance, load, stress, soak, and scalability tests to identify bottlenecks.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on system performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Work closely with development and DevOps teams to simulate real-world usage scenarios and ensure systems meet performance benchmarks.

Test Strategy & Collaboration:

  • Define performance testing strategies, plans, and metrics aligned with product requirements
  • Collaborate with QA, Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify root causes of performance issues and provide actionable recommendations.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

  • Document test results, findings, and performance trends.
  • Continuously improve test automation and performance testing capabilities.
  • Stay up to date with performance testing trends, tools, and best practices.

What You'll Need to Be Successful (Required Skills):

  • 2-4 years of experience in performance testing and automation engineering..
  • Proficiency in tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar..
  • Experience developing automated tests using Java, Python, or other scripting languages..JD Template for Performance Test Engineer
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure), and containerization.
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, system performance, and resource utilisation.

Education/ Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical

experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in cloud-based testing solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics)
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and testing APIs under load.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
