Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional with extensive knowledge of GE Gas Turbines, specifically Frame 5, Frame 6, Frame 7, and Frame 9 models. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Marketing, Servicing, inspection, and repair works for these gas turbine models, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. As part of our team, you will contribute to the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of gas turbine systems to support our ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of GE Gas Turbine models Frame 5, Frame 6, Frame 7, and Frame 9 .
- Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance on gas turbine equipment, including all associated components (compressor, turbine, generator, etc.).
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure the efficient operation of gas turbines.
- Analyze and interpret performance data, troubleshooting systems to identify and rectify issues in a timely manner.
- Review and ensure compliance with manufacturer’s guidelines, safety protocols, and industry standards during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to perform major overhauls, inspections, and turbine refurbishments.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new gas turbine units.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians or field teams.
- Document all maintenance activities, including reports on inspections, repairs, and parts used, in compliance with company standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with GE Gas Turbines, specifically Frame 5, Frame 6, Frame 7, and Frame 9 .
- Proven experience in servicing, Marketing, inspection, and repair of gas turbines.
- Strong understanding of gas turbine operations, controls, and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with turbine overhauls, rotor blade inspections, and combustion system tuning.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in gas turbine maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficient with turbine maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training from GE or other recognized institutions in gas turbine maintenance and operation.
- Experience with turbine controls and PLC systems.
- Experience in working on gas turbine commissioning projects.
