Position Overview:

The Head of Facilities and Technical Services / Senior Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of day to day facility operations, technical services, and maintenance at Yashobhoomi ( Kinexin as a Venue Operator ). The role requires strategic planning, leadership, and execution to ensure that all facilities are managed efficiently, safely, and in line with the organization's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and supervision of operation and maintenance activities for the facility, ensuring optimal functioning of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Develop and implement periodical routine maintenance programs to enhance the longevity and efficiency of assets.
  • Lead a team of technical professionals and FM agencies, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
  • Coordinate with event organizers and internal event support teams to support technical requirements for conventions, exhibitions, and events.
  • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource utilization to achieve cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, environmental standards, and safety norms.
  • Evaluate and recommend upgrades or improvements to the facility's infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders for seamless service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical ) or a related field; a Masters degree or relevant certifications in Facility Management will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in facility management, technical services, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building management systems (BMS), and technical infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale convention centers, hospitality complexes, or similar facilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and provide effective solutions.

Preferred candidate experience:

  • Proven experience in developing and managing utility rate cards.
  • Having a senior leadership position in commercial buildings such as event venues, 5-star hotels, and shopping malls.
  • Having experience in managing at lease 30,000 sqm or above space.

The position is offered on a fixed-term contract, subject to renewal on a year-to-year basis.
