
Learning and Development Manager

We are a manufacturing and exporting Company of repute having turnover of Rs. 100 Crs. + situated in Khandwa Road, at the outskirts of Indore. We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager. The L&D manger will is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering structured learning and development programs for both shop floor and staff-level in the organization. This role bridges the skill gap across organizational levels by creating practical, engaging, and role-relevant learning modules that improve operational efficiency, quality, safety, leadership and foster a learning culture at all levels of the organization
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Needs Identification (TNA) - Work closely with managers and HOD's to assess the training needs of Staff and Blue-collar workforce. Conduct performance reviews, skills audits, incident reports, and feedback sessions to determine learning gaps. Identify behavioral, technical, compliance, and leadership development needs.
- Learning Module Design and Development
-For Blue-Collar Workforce: Create simple, visual, and language-appropriate training content using: Illustrated manuals, step-by-step guides, and SOPs, Infographics, diagrams, and process flows and Basic videos showing correct vs incorrect methods
-For Staff-Level Employees : Design structured learning pathways for: Supervisory training, Quality control techniques, Soft skills, Technical upskilling (ERP usage, reporting, compliance) HR & compliance (code of conduct, policies, labor law awareness)
- Training Delivery : Organize and Facilitate classroom, on-floor, and blended learning sessions.
- Evaluation and Impact Measurement : Monitor learning outcomes through: Pre/post-training assessments , On-the-job evaluations , Supervisor and manager feedback, Productivity, safety, and quality KPIs. Maintain complete training records in line with audits and compliance needs. Prepare monthly and quarterly training reports for management review.
- System and Compliance Management : Maintain and manage the learning management system (LMS) or manual training tracking system. Ensure all mandatory compliance training (e.g., health & safety, fire safety, HR policies) is delivered and documented. Support audit teams with training-related documentation during certifications or inspections (e.g., CTPAT, GOTS, SEDEX).
- Evaluation and Impact Measurement : Monitor learning outcomes through: Pre/post-training assessments , On-the-job evaluations , Supervisor and manager feedback, Productivity, safety, and quality KPIs. Maintain complete training records in line with audits and compliance needs. Prepare monthly and quarterly training reports for management review.
Qualification and skills:
- MBA in HR, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
- Professional certification in training, L&D is preferred.
- 5-7 years' experience in Learning and Development within a manufacturing or textile environment.
- Experience working across multiple levels of workforce – from factory floor to staff and supervisory roles. Proven experience in blue-collar training design and delivery.
- Familiarity with training metrics and ROI evaluation
Salary Range: Rs. 10-12 LPA
