Job Summary:

The Accounts and Finance Executive will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, managing accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting financial reporting and analysis. This role is vital for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring smooth financial operations, and contributing to the company's financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Operations:

  • Manage and oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconciliation of ledgers, and maintenance of financial records.
  • Handle invoices, expense reports, and processing payments to vendors on time.

2. Financial Reporting:

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports for senior management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and maintain regular financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with finance managers in the development of budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor actual spending against the budget to provide variance analyses and recommendations for cost control.
  • Support the preparation of financial forecasts to aid strategic planning.

4. Compliance & Audit Support:

  • Ensure all financial transactions adhere to statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and support external auditors by providing necessary financial information.
  • Keep up-to-date with financial and tax laws and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

5. Process Improvement & Efficiency:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within financial operations and recommend strategies for enhancing efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing automation solutions for routine tasks, improving accuracy and speed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounts and Finance (B. Com) or related fields.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Accounts and Finance.
  • Experience in filling the requirement return for Employee Provident Fund (EPF), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) administration, etc.
  • Experience in filing GST and TDS returns.

Mandatory Skill Sets:

  • Accounting & Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to spot discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial data.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for strategic decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software: Experience with accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

Optional Skill Sets:

  • Financial Analysis & Planning: Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems for accounting and finance.
  • Certifications: A certification in accounting or finance will be preferred.
  • Experience in Tech or AI-Driven Companies: Prior experience in a technology-driven environment is advantageous.
