We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive – finance & accounts (p) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices and must have a deep understanding of GST and TDS regulations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with various teams to process payments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place before processing payments.
- Manage and process payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and other payment methods.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and update the financial system regularly.
- Handle GST and TDS calculations, deductions, and filings in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and payment issues.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Prepare and provide reports on accounts payable status and metrics to management.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or its equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an executive account payable or in a similar role.
- Sharp eye for identifying irregularities.
- Excellent analytical abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of financial and taxation regulations, laws, and any changes thereof.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
