Manager - Finance, Accounting, and Controlling
Job Title: Manager - Finance, Accounting, and Controlling
Location: Remote/Hybrid (Bangalore, India)
Duration: Permanent
Reports to: Head of Finance
Employment Type: Full-time (100%)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, detailed oriented, and proactive individual with a passion for Finance and Accounting with the opportunity to grow into the Head of Finance, Accounting & Controlling for APAC position. This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and controlling activities of KVALITO while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will play a key role in driving KVALITO's financial strategy and managing risks for APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement KVALITO's financial strategy for KVALITO APAC.
- Long-term financial planning and budgeting.
- Liquidity management and cash flow forecasting.
Accounting & Taxes:
- Full responsibility for KVALITO's accounting and financial reporting.
- Organize and oversee accounts payable and receivable, as well as general ledger activities.
- Manage payment transactions and dunning processes.
- Collaborate and act as a point of contact with tax authorities,advisors, trustees, and banks to:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements.
- Oversee tax planning and optimization.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations.
Controlling:
- Develop and implement controlling tools.
- Regular analysis of financial performance and variance analysis.
- Monitor cost structures and identify potential savings.
Risk Management:
- Assess and manage financial risks.
- Develop strategies to minimize risks.
Internal and External Communication:
- Act as the contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
- Report to the executive management and other stakeholders.
- Participate in board meetings and present financial results.
Process and System Optimization:
- Continuously review and optimize financial processes and systems.
- Implement IT systems to automate financial processes.
Compliance with Regulations and Guidelines:
- Ensure that KVALITO complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Update and monitor internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and controlling roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, accounting principles, and tax regulations.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- Proficiency in financial software and IT systems.
- Fluent in English. Any other language is a plus. Excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience in strategic financial management.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or life science sector is a huge plus.
