Overview
TRC is seeking a highly skilled Database & Display Developer for a project in the gas utility domain. The Database & Display Developer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of the SCADA system.

Responsibilities

• SCADA database & display development for the implementation of an AVEVA Enterprise SCADA 2021 (formerly OASyS) system, establishing methodology, test scenarios, and can manage a team of SME's performing the work.
• Working with SCADA vendor on the database & displays, quality verification and remediation, etc.
• Working with the project manager providing clear and accurate weekly project reporting
• Acting as a champion to foster a positive project work environment; and successfully lead the database track to accomplish all the project objectives
• Maintain practices and procedures that support enterprise service management, governance, and regulatory processes
• Collaborate with various departments including Control Center Operations, SCADA, and IT

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience related to SCADA, software development, and operational support of real-time control systems
• Experience with SCADA system databases
• Experienced in the implementation and maintenance of large-scale SCADA systems running on a major vendor platform
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and competing demands with tight timelines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present information to various audiences in both formal and informal settings
• Strong customer service focus with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and internal and external stakeholders which includes excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to deploy a structured approach to problem solving and work practices
• Familiarity with systems development methodologies, requirements analysis, system design and testing methods
• Requires a bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Familiar with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA 2021 DB and Display management and maintenance processes

Salary Range
