  • To ensure that activities of the institute are directed towards excellence and achievement of institute targets as formulated by the business plans.
  • To ensure that the curriculum is implemented as per the academic calendar.
  • Preparation of academic calendar of various courses.
  • To ensure budgetary provisions are met as far as possible in terms of students intake and income.
  • To ensure conducting the entrance tests & personal interviews of all the candidates who seek admission to the various courses of the institute.
  • Preparation and timely release of advertisement for admissions.
  • To facilitate academic related activities like convocation, workshops, guest lecturers etc.
  • Ensuring timely distribution of diploma to the students who complete the course.
  • To co-ordinate all syllabus design and review activities with concerned faculty.
  • To identify, select and co-ordinate with all faculty.
  • To monitor and assess performance of faculty.
  • To create a congenial atmosphere in the institute with the involvement of students and lecturers.
  • Checking the performance of the faculties periodically.
  • Updating the syllabus of various programmes in consultation with the Assistant General Secretary - HPDP.
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant Management information.
  • To check attendance shortfall of students for necessary action and maintain records for the same.
  • To collect students feedback about the faculties for further improvement of the lecturers.
  • Printing of prospectus for courses.
  • To prepare Annual Budget with the help of Assistant General Secretary HPDP.
  • Adhering the day to day problems of the students.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.

Qualification:

  • Graduate with 10 years experience/ Post Graduate with 8 years experience in the education sector having handled related course design and admin.
  • MBA from a reputed Institution will be an added advantage.
