- Developing admission strategies, creating student admission criteria and eligibility and managing the progress of admissions counselors.
- Responsible for the administration of admission policy and procedures related to admissions and student records. The Dean is also responsible for developing, implementing and managing a strategic admissions program encompassing all areas of admissions
- Represents the College at appropriate meetings, forums, workshops and student sessions
- Serves as a key leader in ensuring that all admission process are in order, policies have been framed and resources needed to achieve admissions and student goals.
- Facilitate the training and advising of all team members of the Admissions regarding counselling of the admission prospects
- Arranging external / internal panelist for the admission process
- Develop marketing and admission strategies in collaboration with the Director and program dean
- Ensure security and confidentiality of academic and admission records.
- Act as liaison with the admission committee for offering Financial Aid to award scholarships
- Maintains knowledge of best practices, new developments and innovative enrolment strategies in the Institute and recommend changes to maintain relevance of programs and services to meet student and institutional needs.
- Implements and maintain a data tracking and evaluation system to evaluate the admissions of students from outreach.
- Maintain student admissions and refunds record
- Associate closely with the students staying in hostel and warden for smooth functioning.
- Works closely with digital team to ensure effective scheduling and communication of information.
- Writing relevant articles needed for brand promotion
- Prepare annual admissions report for presenting it to Governing board of the Institute and other Government bodies such as AICTE/NBA/ AIU
- Any other task which may be assigned by the Director related to admissions.
