Milton is looking for a Assistant Manager - Supply Planner

Location - Mumbai

Role Overview

As a Supply Planner , you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. You will collaborate closely with demand planning and procurement teams to develop and execute supply plans that prevent stockouts and overstock situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management – Monitor and control inventory levels across distribution centers.
  • Demand Forecasting – Analyze historical data and market trends to predict future inventory needs.
  • Vendor Coordination – Liaise and negotiate with suppliers to ensure on-time material availability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with operations, production, and other supply chain teams for smooth execution.
  • Reporting – Prepare and present inventory and supply reports to management.
  • Process Optimization – Recommend improvements to inventory handling, storage, and supply processes.

Requirements

  • Education – Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience – Minimum 3 years in production planning, supply chain planning, or logistics.
  • Skills – Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in data modeling and materials planning tools.
