Job Summary
The Business Systems Manager - Accounting & HR, reporting to then SVP, Global Business Technology and will control the financial systems and HRIS utilized by the Corporate Finance and Corporate HR teams at Chargebee, This position will play a hands-on role in the administration of Adaptive Insights and possibly the design and implementation of the new software package. The Systems Manager will have the freedom to recognize potential system and process improvements and build out the company’s data and reporting capabilities to be consistent with the vision of the individual in this role.
What You Will Be Doing
Administration of Netsuite, Expensify, Success Factors and other Financial and HR systems
Manage Releases and small to midsize projects pertaining to upgrading, integrating nad/or implementing Financial and HR information systems
Maintaining data integrity with regular updates to inputs including revenue, expenses, personnel, vendors, fixed assets, currency exchange rates and more
Collaborating with the FP&A team as well as other departments including Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, HR, IT, and others
Admin Responsibilities pertaining to user accesses and data security
Advancing reporting capabilities; building and delivering financial and key metrics reports to management and the board of directors
Recognizing needs, designing, and implementing system enhancements
Possible sunsetting of existing Financial and HR Information Systems
Ensure all delivery follows best practice methodology, including thorough testing and quality documentation
Support high priority deadlines such as monthly book close, billing and payment activities, and quickly respond and resolve issues per agreed upon SLAs
Maintain Administrative documentation and create/conduct end-user training
Manage business priorities for the team and ensure deliverables are completed on time
Participate in and complete audit tasks as assigned
Implement, modify, and upgrade software and applications
Maintain the integrity of data held within the HRIS
Process employee data, such as employee leave, wages, and working hours
Assist with people data analytics and reporting capabilities, ensuring systems are optimized to reduce manual reporting
Identify and troubleshoot system issues and work with others (IT, HR partners, vendors) as needed to bring to resolution
Work cross-functionally to understand business needs and provide actionable insights for ongoing business needs
Work closely with payroll, compensation, and benefits team members to ensure accuracy of benefits deductions, status changes, compensation, and time/attendance related issues
Develop people end-user procedures, guidelines, and workflow documentation
Work with leadership to ensure timely implementation and delivery of new functionality and enhancements
Work with stakeholders to create, update and oversee processes and workflows for HRIS systems and implement timely updates as changes occur
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, application operational efficiency, and security across business systems
Conduct and participate in the analysis of workflows and design of functionality and/or improvements to systems, ensuring both process and system requirements are fully identified, evaluated, tested, and implemented
Must Haves:
Skills and experience working with financial systems especially Netsuite
Skills and experience working with HR systems such as, Success Factors, Workday, Oracle Fusion
Experience with other systems such as Coupa, Oracle Fusion, Expensify, Travel/T&E systems, third party payroll providers and Bank Integrations
Financial background with understanding of accounting, financial reporting, income statements, and planning
Degree(s) in finance, accounting, economics, information technology, or related fields
