Job Description:
- This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of analysts over time as well as ensuring that our financial models do not miss any important operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Leadership & Strategy: Lead, mentor, and grow the financial data operations team comprising of 25-50 financial analysts building and updating financial models, establishing a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and process improvement.
- Training: This role requires actively training and mentoring the team to take on more complex analytical tasks.
- Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement: Analyze current financial data processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce manual interventions, and enhance the overall data lifecycle.
- Automation & Technology Integration: Leverage and implement automation tools and technologies to increase the efficiency of data collection, validation, and processing.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and client success teams to ensure that operational processes align with client needs and product goals. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality data services to our clients.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and maintain KPIs to track the performance of financial data operations team. Implement regular reporting and dashboards to monitor key metrics, identify trends, and ensure alignment with company goals.
Skill Set Required:
- 15+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling in the equity research domain, with a strong focus on process improvement, automation, and operational leadership.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work collaboratively across teams. Proven experience in implementing automation technologies would be preferred.
