Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal Specialist at Asthana Builders Ltd. The Legal Specialist will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on various issues related to the construction industry. Their day-to-day tasks will include conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, consulting with clients and internal teams, and resolving legal disputes. The Legal Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring registrations and compliance with various govt. as well as private clients, mitigating legal risks, and supporting the smooth operation of our projects.
Corporate Governance : Assisting with corporate governance matters, such as corporate filings, shareholder meetings, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures
Legal Documentation : Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as leases, licenses, easements, and right-of-way agreements related to construction projects.
Contract Drafting and Review : Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other parties involved in construction projects. This includes ensuring that contracts are legally sound and protect the company's interests.
Qualifications
Legal Document Preparation
Strong communication skills
Application Filing and follow up
Knowledge of legal issues related to construction
Additional qualifications and skills that would be beneficial for this role include:
Experience in the construction industry
On-line application management
Liaison in local government bodies
Knowledge of contract law
Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field
