Purpose of Role

The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training and development programs for all employees at SUN Mobility Pvt Ltd.

This role is crucial in ensuring that our workforce is skilled, knowledgeable, and continuously growing to meet the demands of the battery manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in learning and development, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the manufacturing environment.


Experience & Qualification

10-15 years of Overall Experience in leading and managing learning & development function with minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry with Full time MBA in HR or equivalent

degree.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs that address the needs of employees at all levels within the organization.
  • Create training materials, manuals, and e-learning content that are engaging and effective.
  • Implement training programs using various methods, including workshops, e-learning, on-the-job training, and mentoring.
  • Deliver training sessions personally and through external trainers or consultants as necessary.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, testing, and performance metrics.
  • Continuously improve training programs based on evaluation results and industry best practices.
  • Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage the budget for the learning and development department, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Source and negotiate with external training providers as needed.


Role Specific Skills/Competencies

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and digital training tools
  • Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations within the manufacturing sector.
