Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead and manage utility-scale solar projects from conception through completion. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in renewable energy, particularly in large-scale solar power projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and to the highest quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Act as the project manager for utility-scale solar projects from feasibility through commissioning.

·        Provide expert guidance to clients on project design, development strategies, risk mitigation, and optimization opportunities

·        Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.

·        Translate client needs into actionable project plans and ensure alignment with their strategic goals.

·        Develop project roadmaps, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

·        Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, legal, and regulatory specialists.

·        Provide in-depth technical advice on solar PV design, grid interconnection, permitting, and construction best practices.

·        Review and approve technical documentation, contracts, and designs to ensure quality and compliance.

·       Data Management through platforms like Aconex, Wrench, EgesDoc, etc.

·        Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

·        Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and international regulations, including environmental and safety standards.

·        Conduct site inspections and audits during critical project phases.

·        Mediate and resolve conflicts between project stakeholders when necessary.


Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or a related field.

·        At least 10 years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 5 years in utility-scale solar projects.

·        Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, grid integration, permitting processes, and energy storage solutions.

·        Working Knowledge of industry-standard software such as PVSyst, AutoCAD, and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project). Document Control Platforms/Software.

·        Proven ability to deliver high-quality advisory services to clients.

·        Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

·        PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification will be preferred

·        Availability to travel frequently to client sites and project locations

Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
