Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Facilities Management team. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and a safe environment throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards are maintained in patient rooms, common areas, and other hospital facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with cleaning protocols and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to address cleaning requirements, special requests, and emergency situations.
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Monitor and enforce infection control measures to prevent the spread of infections.
- Respond to housekeeping-related inquiries, complaints, and concerns from patients, staff, and visitors.
- Implement and enforce hospital policies and procedures related to housekeeping and safety.
Qualifications:
- Graduation or equivalent; additional certification or training in housekeeping management is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping supervision in the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and housekeeping management software.
