Overview About the role As an Industry Advisor for State and Federal Government, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation and innovation across the Government, Transport and Utilities sectors. Your mission is to engage with executive-level stakeholders to co-create strategies that unlock new revenue streams, optimise operations, and deliver hyper-personalised experiences through cutting-edge technologies. You will bring deep domain expertise in the Government, Transport and Utilities Industries, with a strong understanding of industry-specific applications for AI and digital in the Government ecosystem. Your insights will help shape transformation strategies that align with broader business goals and industry trends. Responsibilities Planning and Engagement Lead account planning as the industry expert, engaging closely with customers and partners. Provide clear perspectives on global industry trends and how they apply locally. Build and manage relationships with key decision makers to drive strategic alignment. Develop multi-year roadmaps aligned to customer business and technology goals. Coordinate stakeholders to maintain momentum and ensure execution of joint plans. Sales Execution Identify opportunities that address priority customer needs. Promote repeatable use cases and proven scenarios to drive scale. Shape new solution concepts with product teams when capability gaps exist. Lead strategic discussions with senior executives to define business outcomes. Create compelling value cases that support investment decisions and adoption of Microsoft solutions. Influence stakeholders through consultative engagement and credible industry expertise. Collaboration and Partner Management Coordinate with strategy, delivery, and partner teams to develop and land opportunities. Strengthen partner relationships to expand solution availability and market reach. Share sales strategies and best practices to enable scalable customer success. Industry Expertise Maintain current knowledge through required certifications and continuous learning. Share insights on industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs. Provide informed recommendations that guide planning, execution, and solution development across teams.
