The Regional Quality Manager - Our Brands will lead the implementation and maintenance of quality objectives for products sourced by Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., and its subsidiaries for the U.S. market. This role is responsible for quality assurance, compliance, and quality control programs, ensuring that all products meet applicable legal, industry standards, and customer expectations. The Regional Quality Manager will lead and develop the regional Quality team, driving excellence in product safety, compliance, and fitness for purpose.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing Quality team in the region.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure team members are equipped to meet quality objectives.
  • Implement systems, processes, and procedures to monitor and audit vendor compliance with quality and corporate social responsibility standards.
  • Ensure all products meet required specifications and certifications for the U.S. market.
  • Oversee pre-shipment inspection plans, ensuring alignment with Ferguson Global goals and adherence to AQL sampling plans.
  • Manage customer quality complaint resolution by coordinating defect analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective action implementation.
  • Provide prompt responses to quality concerns and ensure sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage inspection activities conducted by third-party or in-house quality control teams.
  • Oversee product compliance activities, including third-party testing and verification.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives with vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize quality processes.
  • Act as a key liaison between Quality, Sourcing, Vendors, and global teams, fostering seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Partner with other departments to ensure quality goals align with overall business objectives.
  • Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support the organization’s quality initiatives.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality assurance, engineering, or manufacturing, with expertise in plumbing, hardware, or building material products.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with sourcing, QA/QC, vendors, and global colleagues.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proactive and accountable, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Technically adept, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration abilities, with a focus on fostering teamwork.
  • Flexible and adaptable to evolving responsibilities.
