Company Overview: Kingfisher Telecom is a growing telecommunications company in the UK, partnered with BT, providing a range of telecom services such as telephone lines, Wi-Fi, and leased lines. We are looking for a talented individual to head up our UK sales operations from our Gurgaon office in India, focusing on driving B2B sales growth in the UK market.
Job Summary: The Head of UK Sales will be responsible for leading and managing the UK sales efforts from our Gurgaon office. The role focuses on B2B sales of telecom services, including telephone lines, Wi-Fi, and leased lines, leveraging BT products and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales management, particularly within the telecommunications industry, and should have a proven track record of working with UK-based clients. This person will be responsible for building a strong sales team, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring that the business objectives align with financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the B2B sales strategy for Kingfisher Telecom in the UK, from the Gurgaon office.
- Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets in the UK market.
- Build, train, and manage a high-performing sales team focused on B2B field sales and telesales, targeting UK businesses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in UK enterprises requiring telecom services.
- Ensure effective collaboration with UK-based BT partners to drive new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the finance and operations teams to align sales strategies with business goals and profitability.
- Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support to UK clients, ensuring strong customer retention and long-term relationships.
- Analyze the UK telecom market to adapt and refine the sales strategy, ensuring competitiveness.
- Deliver regular reports and sales forecasts to senior management, highlighting progress and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in B2B sales management, particularly within the telecommunications industry, with a strong focus on the UK market.
- Strong understanding of telecom services such as telephone lines, leased lines, and Wi-Fi.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead a sales team, with a focus on field sales and telesales.
- Experience working with UK clients and knowledge of the UK telecom landscape is essential.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage a team remotely, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen and experience working closely with finance teams to ensure profitability.
- Knowledge of BT products and services is highly desirable.
