Social Media & Community Manager Role Overview

We're looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to amplify Illumine's online presence and strengthen our connection with the childcare and education communities. In this role, you'll develop and execute strategies to increase engagement, build relationships, and position Illumine as the leading childcare software solution . Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter ) that aligns with Illumine's brand and growth goals.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content that highlights our impact in childcare, showcases product updates, and engages with our audience.

Community Building & Engagement

  • Build and nurture relationships with the childcare, preschool, and early education communities .
  • Engage in relevant conversations, respond to comments, and actively participate in industry discussions.
  • Be the brand voice in all community interactions, from parent testimonials to educator Q&As.

Content Creation & Curation

  • Work closely with the design and marketing teams to create engaging social media content (graphics, short videos, stories) that highlights Illumine's features, success stories, and industry insights.
  • Curate relevant content from industry leaders, keeping our audience informed and inspired.

Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns around key themes, product launches, or industry trends.
  • Track performance and optimize future campaigns for higher engagement and reach.

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Monitor social media metrics, report on engagement, and provide actionable insights to improve content strategy.
  • Test and refine messaging based on analytics and audience feedback.
Qualifications

Experience: 3-5 years in social media and community management, ideally in the edtech, SaaS, or childcare industries .

Engagement-Driven Mindset: Passion for building online communities and creating content that resonates.

Creative & Storytelling Skills: Strong eye for design and ability to craft compelling narratives.

Excellent Communication: Ability to embody Illumine's brand voice and engage diverse audiences.

Analytical Mindset: Proficient in social media analytics, with a data-driven approach to content strategy.

Adaptable & Collaborative: Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment , working closely with cross-functional teams.
