About the Role:
The ideal candidate has good writing skills, is proactive, quality oriented, has eye for detail, has a deep understanding of social media landscape and regulatory guidelines for use of SM in Pharma, Biotech, and Healthcare sectors. Demonstrates sense of ownership, passion for the role and has a learning attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management & Campaign Building:
- Develop and manage detailed social media calendars (weekly, monthly, and annual) to plan posts, manage campaigns, and review strategies.
- Pre-plan and secure approvals for campaigns well in advance to ensure seamless execution.
- Continuously monitor user engagement and adapt strategies to optimize reach, impressions, and engagement metrics.
- Publish error-free, high-quality content across social media platforms, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Strategize, plan, and implement social media campaigns, aligning with organizational and branding goals.
Content Development:
- Strategize, plan, and create engaging, error-free, high-quality content for social media platforms that align with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Write, develop, and proofread content tailored to each platform, ensuring adaptability for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with Lead Designers to conceptualize and create designs, infographics, and other visual assets for campaigns. While the candidate does not need to design independently, they must have a keen eye for design to ensure the output aligns with the brand's aesthetic and objectives.
- Work closely with content teams and creative heads to align social media content with broader communication objectives and campaigns.
- Develop compelling storytelling approaches, leveraging scientific and industry-relevant data to create impactful campaigns.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in digital communication to keep content innovative and engaging.
- Conduct regular content audits to ensure all published material aligns with legal, regulatory, and brand compliance requirements.
Social Listening & Analytics:
- Use tools like Metricool, Sprinklr, Facebook Business Manager, Analytics, Cision, and Meltwater to monitor brand mentions, sentiment, and influencer activities.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to evaluate campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Track and analyze key social media metrics such as engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth to drive strategic improvements.
Qualifications & Expertise:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Digital Communications, Advertising, Brand Management, Content Development, or related fields.
- 7+ years of experience in Social Media Management, Content Creation, Brand Communication, or Advertisement, preferably in the Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences, or Healthcare industries.
- Proven ability to manage multi-channel campaigns from ideation to deployment.
- Expertise in writing, developing, and managing social media strategies, including paid campaigns on platforms like Twitter and .
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in social media and campaign management.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in content creation, data analysis, and actionable reporting through dashboards and presentations.
- Hands-on experience working with digital marketing agencies or managing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Scientific bent of mind and a willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful, high-quality campaigns aligned with organizational goals.
