The Events & Ops Lead will plan, organize, and execute a high volume of student events both on-campus and off-campus. This person will be the operational backbone of our event ecosystem- ensuring flawless execution, smooth logistics, and memorable experiences. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love orchestrating details, and can run back-to-back events without dropping the ball, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Event Management

  2. Own end-to-end planning and execution of all student events: CXO talks, business immersions, workshops, cultural events, and external visits.

  3. Coordinate with internal teams, external speakers, partners, and vendors.

  4. Develop event calendars, checklists, and execution playbooks.

  5. Manage on-ground operations and troubleshoot in real time.

  6. Operations & Logistics

  7. Oversee logistics such as venue, AV setup, catering, student coordination, and travel (where applicable).

  8. Ensure cost-effective vendor management without compromising quality.

  9. Implement systems to track event budgets, feedback, and outcomes.

  10. Process & Cadence

  11. Create standardized processes to streamline event execution.

  12. Maintain a high-frequency cadence while ensuring consistent quality.

  13. Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency and student experience.

  14. Student & Stakeholder Engagement

  15. Work closely with student committees, faculty, and external partners to co-create engaging events.

  16. Be the first point of contact for all event-related needs and escalations.

  17. Collect feedback and drive improvements based on student and guest experience.

What Were Looking For

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in event management, campus operations, hospitality, or related domains.

  • Proven ability to manage high-frequency events with tight turnarounds.

  • Strong project management, vendor management, and multitasking skills.

  • Hands-on execution mindset comfortable rolling up your sleeves.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Bonus: Experience in education, student affairs, or startup environments.
