Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Machine Learning Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about researching, implementing, training, and testing machine learning models, particularly in the areas of vision intelligence and text generation. You will work on tasks such as vision intelligence, pose detection, fall detection, exercise recognition, and sentence summarization. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to experiment with state-of-the-art technologies and contribute to impactful projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research & Development:
  • Research state-of-the-art machine learning models in vision intelligence and text generation.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in the field and suggest new approaches for ongoing projects.
  • Model Implementation:
  • Implement and fine-tune machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
  • Develop and deploy models for tasks including but not limited to pose detection, fall detection, exercise recognition, and sentence summarization.
  • Training & Testing:
  • Train models on relevant datasets, ensuring robust performance and accuracy.
  • Test and validate models using various metrics, and iterate to improve their effectiveness.
  • Work with datasets from platforms like Kaggle and others to benchmark and enhance model performance.
  • Model Optimization:
  • Optimize models for deployment on different platforms, ensuring they meet performance requirements.
  • Modify and adapt existing models to suit specific project needs.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and domain experts, to integrate models into existing systems.
  • Collaborate with the Unity 3D development team to incorporate ML models into VR experiences (experience with Unity 3D is a plus).


Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and the Hugging Face pipeline.
  • Familiarity with computer vision tasks such as pose detection, fall detection, and exercise recognition.
  • Knowledge of natural language processing techniques for tasks like sentence summarization.
  • Experience working with datasets and competitions on platforms like Kaggle.
  • Programming Skills:
  • Proficient in Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, OpenCV, and scikit-learn.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for model deployment is a plus.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Familiarity with Unity 3D and the integration of machine learning models into VR applications is a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
