Job Summary:

As a Salesforce Consultant, you will work directly with clients to understand their business processes, translate requirements into Salesforce solutions, and provide expert guidance on best practices. You will be responsible for end-to-end Salesforce implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, customization, integration, and training. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce features, tools, and development capabilities, combined with a strong customer-facing presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Engage with clients to understand their business processes, challenges, and objectives. Conduct workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather and analyze business requirements.

Salesforce Configuration & Customization: Configure Salesforce to meet business needs, including designing and building custom objects, workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.

Salesforce Development: Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to address specific client requirements.

Salesforce Integration: Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using tools like Salesforce APIs, MuleSoft, Jitterbit, or Informatica.

Solution Design & Best Practices: Design scalable and effective Salesforce solutions, ensuring that best practices for data model design, security, automation, and performance are followed.

Data Migration & Transformation: Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems into Salesforce, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Utilize tools such as Data Loader and Dataloader.io for data imports/exports.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and validation to ensure that Salesforce solutions function as intended. Assist clients with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve any defects.

Training & Support: Provide training to end-users and internal teams, and ensure proper documentation of processes, configurations, and solutions. Offer post-implementation support to troubleshoot issues and ensure the platform is optimized.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on Salesforce platform updates, releases, and new features. Recommend enhancements and optimizations to clients' existing Salesforce setups.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Technical Skills & Experience:

Salesforce Expertise:

Proficiency in core Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ.

Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities, including Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Flow.

Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) for development.

Salesforce Certifications:

Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) (required).

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (preferred).

Other relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Consultant or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect are a plus.

Integration Experience:

Experience with Salesforce API, RESTful APIs, and integration tools like MuleSoft, Jitterbit, Dell Boomi, or Informatica for seamless system integration.

Data Management: Experience in data migration using Data Loader, Dataloader.io, or third-party tools. Knowledge of data cleansing, transformation, and validation best practices.

Process Automation: Expertise in configuring Process Builder, Workflow Rules, Flow Builder, and Apex Triggers to automate business processes.

Reporting & Analytics: Strong experience in designing and building reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Salesforce. Ability to provide actionable insights based on data.

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud-based tools such as AWS, Azure, or other integration platforms is a plus.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

4+ years of experience in Salesforce configuration, implementation, and consulting.

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable Salesforce solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices for delivering Salesforce projects.

Salesforce Communities: Experience with the implementation and customization of Salesforce Community Cloud.

Experience with CPQ: Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) for automating quote-to-cash processes.

Salesforce Lightning Experience: Strong experience migrating Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience and optimizing for user experience.
