Roles and Responsibilities The Role-Senior Manager or Sr Developer We are looking for a Senior Manager or Sr Developer to lead our key product development. This role will report directly to the AVP and will be responsible for successful execution of the company's business mission through development of cutting-edge software products and solutions. You will lead the team that builds large-scale systems executing business requirements with sub-second latencies. You will provide Tech leadership to both internal and market facing technical partnerships - helping take technical and operational decisions for long term success of the product and organization. As a Sr Developer, you will be playing a pivotal role in enabling Protean to deliver to its ambitions. You will work with an amazing peer group that fuels this ambition. You will be responsible for several engineering teams each with 4-5 people. Overall your span of management could include What would you do here? Work closely with teams to review architectural and technological choices for functional, cost and time to deliver fitment. To have good technical expertise in JAVA, J2EE, PL or SQL Collaborate with operations teams to monitor and assure SLA adherence of all services. Collaborate with cross functional teams of QA, Project, UX and other teams for staffing each project appropriately. Mentor and manage engineering managers for effective delivery of projects Percolate the benefits of the relevant technological choices to Product, Operations, Business and Executive teams. Be responsible to ship products at high quality in a timely manner. What are we looking for? At least 6+ years as an in a software product company with High technical credibility - ability to audit technical decisions and push for the best solution to a problem. Requirement deep technical knowledge in Software Product Engineering using Java or J2EE, fullstack, NosqlDB, mongodb, cassandra, neo4j, elastic search, kibana, elk, kafka, redis, docker, kubernetes, apache, solr, activemq, rabbitmq, spark, scala, sqoop, hbase, hive, websocket, webcrawler, springboot, etc. is a must. Hands-on technical leadership with proven ability to recruit high performance talent Experience building E2E Application right from backend database to persistent layer. Experience UI technologies Angular, or fullstack environment will be preferred. Experience with NoSQL technologies ,MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, Dynamodb, etc Elastic Search, Kibana, ELK, Logstash. Experience in developing Enterprise Software using Agile Methodology. Good understanding of Kafka, Redis, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Solr etc. SaaS cloud-based platform exposure. Experience on Docker, Kubernetes etc. Ownership E2E design development and also quality enterprise product/application deliverable exposure
