Job Description
The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and compliance functions while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management presentations on a periodic basis.
- Conduct thorough internal and statutory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide financial advice and strategic insights to management for effective decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST, and other statutory requirements.
- Reconciliation of statutory dues with challans, returns, and books of accounts.
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns) and conduct GST audits.
- Perform vouching of income & expenses, ledger scrutiny, fixed assets verification, and physical inventory checks.
- Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, fund management, and working capital requirements
- Implement strong internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Keep updated with changes in accounting principles, taxation, and corporate laws.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
