Roles and Responsibility
This position will be responsible for the development andimplementation of CSR activities in the region by reporting directly to thehead of Government Affairs (with a dotted reporting line to HQ CSR Team lead,where the strategic and tactical delivery of CSR projects in India. S/he drivessocial and environmental impact initiatives aligned with a business goal inIndia. S/he also reinforces strategic partnerships with leading non-profits andgovernments (Central and States) to serve underrepresented communities andbring key influencers into company's business ecosystem in close collaborationwith the other team members of the Government Affairs team in India and CSRteam in the HQ.
Responsibilities
Drive excellence in the execution of CSR initiatives inIndia, ensuring alignment with the international CSR approach of company thatcontributes to closing the skills gap and enhancing livelihoods for underservedcommunities. This would involve co-designing engagement frameworks withnon-profit partners, collaborating with government entities, and curatingskills-based volunteering of employees in alignment with legislation, compliances,and business requirements. Actively create opportunities for building strongpartnership, collaboration and engagement with central government, localgovernment, business associations and non-profits, leveraging CSR initiativesin alignment with public policy and social impact-related objectives. Help advance company's policy environment by supportingpublic policy advocacy with the team of Government Affairs and showcase thecompany's social value to the media by creating 'Company for good' stories withthe PR/Communication team. Cooperate with CSR team in HQ to generate ONE approach forIndia by providing proper support, sharing insights, and raising awareness ofpolicy and social agenda in India. Conduct due diligence on all CSR activities in Indiaincluding; Validate capable non-profits/partners transparently. Operational support to all donations/grants, ensuringaccountability (developing, managing, monitoring of projects, and reporting onscope, schedule and budget) Administrate works for CSR initiatives, including adocumentation (related report, record, letter, data, plan) Crossed team collaboration and communication. Serve as a liaison on CSR topics internally and externally.Qualification & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree but Master/Equivalent preferred with 7-10years of experience in corporate social responsibility work in IT/Gamingcompanies AND/OR project management of social impact initiatives in (or with)companies in India. Outstanding collaboration and partnership skills with provenability to drive for results across the sector that include a representative ofgovernment entities, community-based organizations, non-profit and civicleaders, and program beneficiaries. A deep understanding of the policy landscape and socialissues that the opportunities advance the company's social value. Excellent communication skills: Ability to distil complexinformation into simple messages and concise communication materials tailoredfor the audience. Ability to logically drive recommendations and landpriorities across the team and organizational boundaries. Project management experience cross the team. Open to learning new things and tracking challengingproblems end to end. Strong interests in the gaming/IT industry-
