Job Overview We are seeking a Mid-Level Area Head for our Mumbai and Ahmedabad locations. This full-time role at Edelweiss Life Insurance requires a dynamic and result-oriented professional to manage and drive regional sales operations by leading a team of skilled individuals. The position involves strategic leadership to expand market reach and deliver performance by engaging in direct sales of life insurance products. Qualifications and Skills Must possess team leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to guide, inspire, and manage a regional sales team effectively (Mandatory skill). Profound understanding and experience in the life insurance industry to cater to diverse consumer needs innovatively (Mandatory skill). Direct sales experience with a successful track record in achieving sales targets in a competitive sector (Mandatory skill). Proficiency in lead generation strategies that convert prospects into lifetime customers, ensuring sustainable growth for the organization. Strong team-building skills to cultivate a collaborative environment characterized by achievement and mutual support. Skilled in decision making with the capability to analyze a situation critically and make quick, well-informed business choices. Experience as an area sales head or an equivalent role, demonstrating the ability to handle wide-ranging responsibilities with efficiency. Excellent communication skills to convey ideas effectively and foster robust relationships with stakeholders, customers, and team members. Roles and Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective coaching and motivation. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and ensure a strong presence in the competitive market. Identify new market opportunities and prospect areas for growth, implementing innovative sales tactics tailored to the local market. Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and teams, ensuring an excellent customer experience and maintenance of brand integrity. Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and adapt sales strategies as required to deliver results. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies and processes to meet and exceed sales objectives. Maintain ongoing knowledge of the companys products and services, ensuring the teams alignment in delivering tailored insurance solutions.
