Job Description: Business Analyst
Core Accountabilities:
Data Collection & Analysis – related to global projects, strategic initiatives, production processes, machinery performance, inventory levels, labor efficiency, and costs.
Process Improvement through analyzing manufacturing data base to support process optimization methodologies & projects. Performance
Monitoring – Global IHM report finalization, key IHM performance indicator analytics related to capacity, capability, cost, compliance, quality, production etc. Financial
Analysis of manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, overhead, and other expenses, identify opportunities for cost savings and increased profitability. Support annual budgeting & forecasting process for manufacturing operations.
Reporting and MIS – Create monthly reports, dashboards, and support in MIS operations
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with production, finance, supply chain, and management teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on manufacturing goals and strategies.
Essential Knowledge:
Ability to track and analyze data / assessment metrics & improve manufacturing performance
High proficiency in Microsoft Power Point & excel (Power BI, SQL etc are a plus)
Basic understanding of manufacturing cost analysis, budgeting, and financial metrics related to manufacturing operations.
Ability to support and manage manufacturing projects from inception to completion.
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with various global stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams – supply chain, production, finance, quality
Technical Skills:
MS Office proficiency – Power Point & Excel
Power BI (Preferred)
Project Management
Successful Experience:
Overall industry experience of 5+ years.
Preferably experience in manufacturing operations or supply chain business analysis
Experience in analyzing data to identify trends, inefficiencies & improvement scope
Ability to create comprehensive reports & presentations for actionable insights to leadership
Hands on experience in ‘process improvement projects’ is a plus
