At American Express Global Business Travel, we're looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supervising assigned team members, including goal setting, team building, and performance management. You will also be responsible for training and professional development of subordinate analysts, building and maintaining strong relationships with key business and finance partners, and working with international team members on collection efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise assigned team members, including goal setting, team building, and performance management.
  • Train and professional development of subordinate analysts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business and finance partners.
  • Work with international team members on collection efforts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoice issuance and application of cash payments.
  • Control point monitoring.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of process performance metrics.
  • Contract interpretation and analysis, including the ability to translate complex contractual terms to advanced Excel modeling to validate third-party calculations.
  • Journal entry processing/account reconciliations.
  • Assist management in the preparation of interim and annual audit requirements.
  • Provide scheduled deliverables in a timely manner and ad-hoc reporting as requested.
  • Conduct and document monthly dunning calls.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5-7 years related experience.
  • Supervisory experience helpful.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills.
  • NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience tailoring and summarizing information based on audience: financial and non-financial audience, staff to senior management.
