About Our Job:


We are currently looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Manipal Business Solutions. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our customer onboarding solution for a public sector bank.


This role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that the solution aligns with the bank's processes, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines (including EASE 7.0).


Key Responsibilities:



  • Gathering and documenting business requirements, workflows, and use cases related to customer onboarding, including Aadhaar-based eKYC, video KYC, and biometric verifications.
  • Ensuring a deep understanding of banking processes, especially in areas of customer onboarding, regulatory compliance, and integration with core banking systems.
  • Acting as a liaison between technical teams, business teams, and the bank to ensure alignment of project goals, features, and timelines.
  • Developing detailed functional requirement documents (FRDs), business process documentation, wireframes, and user stories.
  • Assisting in validating that the solution meets business needs and complies with public sector banking standards, including EASE 7.0 guidelines.
  • Analyzing existing processes and recommending improvements for efficiency and better customer experience.
  • Collaborating with the technical team on the integration of banking systems (core banking, CRM, etc.) and the onboarding solution, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Working with QA teams to validate functionality, providing inputs on test cases, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field. MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the banking/financial services domain, with a focus on customer onboarding and digital banking solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Indian banking processes, core banking systems, regulatory compliance (e.g., KYC, AML), and familiarity with public sector banking reforms (EASE 7.0).
  • Knowledge of integration points with banking APIs, CRMs, and digital verification solutions. Experience working with software development teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex processes and translate them into clear and actionable business requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels, both technical and non-technical.
  • Proactive problemsolver with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), wireframing tools, and process modeling tools is a plus.
