We are now looking for a new person to elevate our customer journey experience for potential foster carers. The Engagement Lead  holds a critical role in OzChild focused on growing the number of new foster carers in VIC, ACT and QLD to support vulnerable children and young people. Reporting to the Senior Manager Marketing & Engagement, in conjunction with the program teams in each state, this national role supports the foster carer customer service and onboarding journey; from enquiry, face-to-face and/or online screenings, completing paperwork, running information sessions, to stewardship, and facilitating checks, training and preliminary assessment of potential foster carers. You’ll do important work with one of Australia’s most impactful child welfare organisations, and with our world-class culture and great team, we guarantee you’ll have fun along the way To be successful in this role you will need; · At least 2+ experience in (carer) recruitment, business development, account management or a related role · Demonstrated experience in customer journeys, pipeline management and business development (sales) to meet high organisational targets · Not-for-profit experience and previous out-of-home care sector knowledge is desirable · Experience in Dynamics 365 is desirable · Experience and/or understanding of trauma, grief and loss is highly desirable · Highly developed interpersonal, communicating with influence, organisational, planning, and relationship management skills · Demonstrated experience in networking situations and public speaking · Capacity to work productively with a range of internal and external stakeholders · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at once, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure · The ability to work as an effective member of a team while exercising independence, judgement and initiative · Desirable · Qualification in social work, social science, psychology, community services or related field · Tertiary qualification in business, communications, sales, marketing, or related subject Whilst the above experience is highly regarded, we welcome passionate applicants with a drive to learn and a “can do” attitude.
