We are looking for a Senior Logistics Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Sr. Director Procurement Center of Excellence and based in Bengaluru, KA.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient flow of information and material.

• Manage the India Logistics teams (6-8 resources ) for inbound and outbound shipments to support the production requirements and customer deliveries for revenue recognition.

• Monitor performance to plan, identify process improvements to support company goals, which meet or exceed the key KPIs relating to Services, escalate and resolve critical issues.

• Facilitate healthy accountability across functions and plants by creating simple, visual, reporting tools.

• Work closely with 3PL’s, International and National carriers to achieve world class performance, resolve all issues that may arise and manage performance.

• Communicate and work closely with our freight payment and audit suppliers – FBA.

• Participation in QBR’S (quarterly business reviews) including generation of material to support the review

• Close liaison with Global trade and risk management

• Manage necessary approvals from STPI/Development Commissioner/Customs for imports, de-bonding, re-export and any other movements into or out of EHTP/STP/EOUs

• Ensure submission/maintenance of necessary statutory registers/reports/intimations for EHTP/STP/EOUs as per regulatory requirements.

• Review customs classification of goods for import and export and ensure use of most appropriate HS Code( harmonise code – customs regulatory code) for filing with Customs (regulatory)

• Lead the team for co-ordination with international suppliers and freight forwarders right from weekly container forecast/bookings and pick-up to tracking and arrival into destination ports.

• Participate in RFP generations associated with contract renewals / contract awards.

• Monitor and manage budgets quarterly for logistics and warehouse. Own and execute quarterly freight forecast based on the shipments planned.

• Analyze data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepare reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution.

• Critical Thinker: Determining new ways to solve complex issues be implementing robust standard processes.

• Biased for Action: Able to make tactical decisions using good judgment on a quick and consistent basis.

• Ownership: Cradle process development, implementation and ongoing monitoring.

• Strong communication skills required. Lead by example and willingness to “live and learn” a prerequisite.

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Operations Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain.

• 8+ years of experience in Internal/External Logistics handling Domestic and International shipments

• Experience in managing regulatory compliance for EOU/EHTP/STP Units

• Working knowledge of Customs classification for import and export, customs duty exemptions for various exemption schemes/category of goods, Free Trade Agreements as well as international trade controls

• Well versed with managing freight forwarders, transporters, customs broker and 3PL providers

• High volume or high mix manufacturing experience preferred with associated Lean training.

• Highly advanced analytical and cognitive skills.

• Must be a creative thinker and have a vision of how to raise process maturity to the next level.

• Must be a team player and value employee development / mentoring on the job.
