We host a number of events each year, gathering thousands of the world’s biggest leaders in Blockchain and AI to meet, network and shape the dialogue around the future of these industries.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Delegate Sales Executive to work on booking qualified delegates for our events. It is a paid event so you will be required to sell paid passes. The delegates attending will be C-suite executives, heads of departments and VIPs. You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to acquire a diverse and influential pool of delegates. Your efforts will be instrumental in ensuring our events attract thought leaders, industry experts, key stakeholders and decision-makers.

We are looking for someone specifically with delegate sales experience (paid passes) within events and conferences. You should have previous experience and a proven track record of:

  • Identifying and researching potential delegates based on event topics, industry trends, and targeted demographics
  • Developing and executing targeted delegate acquisition strategies tailored to each event
  • Meeting or exceeding set targets
  • Create compelling outreach campaigns to attract senior stakeholders, including email, social media, and direct communication

Requirements

What you will deliver:

  • Making outbound calls to contact potential delegates who are senior decision makers to talk them through the upcoming event agenda, sell the event ticket/s and confirm their invitations
  • Update CRM records with call and email interactions, and follow up contact
  • Achieve target delegate numbers for the event
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless registration process and a positive delegate experience

Must Haves for the Role:

    • Degree Educated or equivalent education
    • Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably in B2B events, conference, or trade shows
    • Minimum of 2 years experience selling paid passes (between the value of $500 - $1500 each)
    • Worked on events with minimum 500 attendees
    • Ability to navigate your way through switchboards/gatekeepers and get through to the right individual
    • Must have excellent telephone manner
    • Excellent objection handling experience
    • Experience with CRM systems
    • Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills to tailor outreach strategies for different events and delegate segments
    • Consultative sales approach to build relationships and rapport, we are not looking for someone to merely read off scripts
